If you are travelling by train, Ahmedabad Junction is a convenient option, and connects the city well to other major destinations in the country.

Regular bus services by Gujarat state transport buses and private operators ply to all major destinations in the state such as Mumbai, Bangalore, and New Delhi. 

National Highway 8 cuts through Ahmedabad and connects the national capital, New Delhi to the financial capital of Mumbai, as well as important cities including Gurgaon, Jaipur, Ajmer, Udaipur, Vadodara and Surat.
